Season 2 of AMC‘s The Walking Dead seemed to be hit or miss for many fans of the show. Some claimed the season moved along too slowly in the first half, with the main cast meandering around Hershel’s farm for way too long. On the other hand, while they remained at the farm until the very end, most people also thought the second half of Season 2 was some of the best television entertainment ever.
Whatever you may have thought about last season, the new four-minute trailer for Season 3 that debuted at San Diego Comic-Con today makes it look like it will top anything we have seen before. Fans, you are going to love this! Hit the jump to watch!

Just when we thought no more trailers would be released for director Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, a fourth trailer debuted last month, surprising everyone. Now, we’re a mere 10 days away from the film’s release, so there’s no way that yet another one could surface, right?
Wrong. A fifth trailer, called “Journey,” has now made its way online, via Xfinity. The trailer opens with scenes from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, summarizing what we’ve seen so far with Bruce Wayne’s journey in the films. Then, it kicks into high gear with clips from the final film, including some new scenes featuring the war on Gotham. Thankfully, this doesn’t show us too much, or reveal anything spoiler-ish, so hit the jump if you’re thirsty for more of The Dark Knight Rises!

Well, this is unexpected. When the third trailer for The Dark Knight Rises hit the web last month, most assumed that it would be the last full trailer before the film’s debut next month. As it turns out, Nokia has debuted an exclusive trailer online today, which, of course, contains new footage that will most likely blow away fans of the franchise. Not sure if I would say it is a better trailer than the third, but I’ll leave that up to the reader to decide. Let’s not discuss this any further, and just watch, shall we?

Last month saw the debut of a teaser trailer for season five of Cartoon Network’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which teased more of Darth Maul, his brother Savage Opress, and the Mandalorian splinter group Death Watch. The new full-length trailer – which debuted recently at Disney Hollywood Studios’ Star Wars Weekends and just yesterday online over at Entertainment Weekly – starts off showing us exactly what was in the teaser, but then gives us a whole lot more.
Not only does this trailer feature more of Maul and the Death Watch, but also reveals that planet Onderon from the Old Republic mythology will be featured as part of a major battle during the war. We also get to see more of the space pirate Hondo Ohnaka (who seems to have taken up a career in arms dealing), and, most of all, the trailer hints that The Clone Wars series will really be getting more into just how the Empire from the original Star Wars trilogy came to be – more than what was revealed in Revenge of the Sith. This is definitely the best trailer for the series as of yet. Hit the jump to watch!

Two new trailers have popped up online in the last few days for director Timur Bekmambetov’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, which hits theaters nationwide on June 22nd. One is a green band trailer focusing more on the character and heart of the film, and the other a red band trailer which, of course, highlights the film’s blood and guts and apparent shear epic awesomeness. Both show just how entertaining this movie could be. Hit the jump to see these two new trailers for the film!

Yesterday during America’s Got Talent, Sony premiered a four-minute “super preview” for The Amazing Spider-Man, which hits theaters nationwide July 3rd. It is basically a cool scene that has been condensed down to 90 seconds teasing The Lizard wreaking havoc on a bridge and Spider-Man rescuing a kid, followed by what is more or less the third trailer that Apple debuted a couple weeks ago.
In addition, today Sony has also debuted a new “MakeDotBelieve” featurette on director Marc Webb in which he discusses the film-making process and how far technology has come to help create the ulimate film-maker’s dream of being able to create anything imaginable. Hit the jump to watch both!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars has been quite the game changer in its last two seasons, delivering the goods with compelling new villains and darker storylines. More specifically, the show has proven itself to be worthy of the Star Wars legacy by showing us that fans did not know everything there is to know about the Force (Mortis trilogy, anyone?), or even various characters from the actual film franchise, particularly when it comes to Darth Maul.
Based on the latest teaser for Season five, it looks like the show will continue raising the bar and take Star Wars to a whole new level. This particular trailer shows that the fifth season will indeed follow up on storylines introduced in past seasons, such as the return of Maul as well as the Mandalorian splinter group Death Watch. Hit the jump to watch!

The third trailer for director Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man has just debuted online over at Apple, which will be playing in theaters in front of The Avengers this weekend (along with the most recent trailer for The Dark Knight Rises).
This trailer focuses primarily on the mystery surrounding Peter Parker’s parents, but also showcases plenty of action and more of the Lizard this time around. While it definitely seems like it may be too soon for a reboot, I think most people will accept a new Spider-Man franchise if this movie is as good as it looks. Check out the latest “amazing” trailer for the film after the jump!
