A teaser trailer for the much talked about film adaptation for Edgar Rice Burroughs’ classic novel, John Carpenter of Mars, has finally arrived online. Simply titled John Carter (seriously, what is it with poor title choices recently?), the story follows the title character as he is mysteriously transported to Mars where he finds himself thrown into the middle of a war amongst the inhabitants of the planet that ultimately need his heroics to save the day. While I have not read the story personally, Disney’s trailer for the film looks impressive. Check it out below!

After months and months of hearing about the direct prequel to John Carpenter‘s The Thing, a trailer is finally available for the film – which is is also called The Thing for some strange reason. I really would like to hear the logic on this, since the trailer vaguely hints at the fact that it is a prequel, making this look more like a straight up remake for those not in the know (did I mention the title doesn’t help?). That aside, the trailer is actually quite awesome, not to mention terrifying. You can check it out after the jump!

The third full trailer for Rupert Wyatt‘s Rise of the Planet of the Apes has hit the web, and it is definitely the best one yet. The trailer shows quite a bit more of the character moments with Caesar, and it does not disappoint. I am really surprised by how good this looks, and if the finished product is even half as good as the trailers 20th Century Fox has given us, we’re in for a great ride with this one. A teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated second season of AMC’s The Walking Dead TV series has made its way online. While it’s not much, it definitely does what a teaser trailer should do, which is to show us very little and still manage to get us excited. Cannot wait to see what is in store for us when the series returns this October! Hit the jump to check it out!
Update: The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman has reported that this trailer, while cool, is actually fan-made and not an official teaser for the show. Hopefully we’ll get a real trailer soon!

Yahoo! Movies has debuted the second trailer for Apollo 18, which chronicles the fictional story (or is it?) of a secret mission to the moon in 1974 that conspiracy theorists claim was covered up by NASA. While the trailer is quite a bit shorter than the first, it is still really creepy nonetheless and contains some great new footage that is sure to send chills down your spine. Hit the jump to watch!

The brand new, full-length trailer for Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger has just emerged online over at Yahoo! Movies that will have fans gasping for breath at the sight of its awesomeness! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, the final film in the franchise, has one final trailer to show off before the film debuts on July 15th, which you can now watch online. Yes, this is still my most anticipated movie of the summer, and yes, it still looks incredible! This trailer in particular does a good job at bringing everything full circle, reminding us of what has come before in the series and contrasting it with the dark events that are about to happen in the finale. Abrams‘ Super 8 premiered at the MTV Movie Awards last night that focuses on the military’s response to whatever monster/creature/entity thingy gets loose in the small town in which the story takes place.
