As a hardcore X-Files fan (yes, after all these years I still love the show), when I watched the show back in the 90s, I have always noticed that Mulder’s “I Want to Believe” Poster changed in season four of the show (probably because I’m the only one geeky enough to notice such a small detail). So, I decided to contact Frank Spotnitz, one of the main writers/producers of the show, to find clarity on the issue.

The Young Victoria, starring Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada, The Wolfman), has had quite a bit of buzz surrounding it lately. It had a limited release a couple of weeks ago, and expanded to 150 more theaters across the US last Friday. Blunt has already received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress for her role as the young queen. Sounds like this film is shaping up to be the one to see as far as period pieces go.

Boris Karloff Blogathon Article November 23 – 29th

Frankensteinia: The Frankenstein Blog has posted a call to all bloggers who are fans of Boris Karloff – the man who played the most recognizable Frankenstein Monster in film history – to write something about Karloff in celebration of his birthday on November 23rd.
“Team Detroit,” an ad agency out of Detroit, Michigan, had their annual Halloween party where each department participates in a decorating contest. Aside from many traditional decorations like ghouls and goblins, a few departments were decorated with movie-themes that seemed appropriate to feature here.
For months (and in a way, years) now we’ve been hearing Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd and others talk about the third Ghostbusters movie. Well, Making Of has posted an interview with Ramis and he talks quite a bit about the new film that is being penned by two writers from The Office TV series. Check it out after the jump!
