LOST_Times_Interview

Last Sunday marked the series finale of the hit TV show LOST. Whether you loved it or hated it (personally, I liked the finale quite a bit), you cannot deny the show’s overall captivating storytelling and the mark it has made on network television.

In honor of the show, The New York Times conducted a live, 100-minute interview with LOST writers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. They discussed at great length the writing process of the show, answered some lingering questions about past plot points and also took questions from the audience. I found this at /Film the other day and I figured I should re-post it here, since I found it so incredibly informative and entertaining. If you are (or were) a fan of LOST, you should watch this.

Essentially, he has spliced together various footage from old 50s sci-fi movies and serials and edited it all together to make a 50s sci-fi trailer for Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back – just in time for the 30th anniversary of the film! Producer Frank Spotnitz’s Social Networking Website, Big Light, occassionally puts out behind-the-scenes videos with the crew involved with making the hit TV show The X-Files. The last video PCM featured was with Production Designer Mark Freeborn, who talked about his work on the franchise’s second feature film, The X-Files: I Want to Believe.
