I have to say, although the teaser was intriguing, this full-length trailer blew me away. I have never seen the animated series that this film is based on (Avatar: The Last Airbender), but this film looks like it will be one epic “kids” movie! It actually looks like something that adults can dig as well.

M. Night Shyamalan sure needs a break. His last few movies have been heavily looked down upon by critics and casual movie-goers alike (I actually quite enjoyed everything up to The Happening, myself), and I think it is time this man make a comeback. I have said for the past few years now that he should just direct something that he did not come up with on his own. While he is the credited writer for the film, the source material from the animated series is not his own. Hopefully he stays close to the story that has already been established in the series while still mixing in his own take on it.

After seeing this trailer, this movie has become one of my most anticipated movies of 2010.
