We haven’t received a trailer for DC’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice for quite some time. Today we finally received the latest, and it really looks great! Check it out below!

Official Synopsis:

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs.  And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

This trailer has quite a different tone than the first trailer, which was very serious and bleak. This latest trailer shows us that the film has a sense of humor, introducing us to Lex Luthor and his little quirks, and also giving us a taste of the banter between Superman and Batman (the moment between them when Wonder Woman is introduced here is great). There’s just so much here to ponder and get geeked about, including Doomsday!

Overall, this trailer has me much more excited than when the first trailer debuted. Both Man of Steel and the first trailer for Batman v Superman were dark and brooding. I didn’t mind it at all, but it’s nice to see that DC has a fun side. It was also really great to hear more dialogue from both Bruce Wayne and his alter ego Batman. I really think Ben Affleck is going to pull this off.

On a side note, there have been many people judging this film already, saying that Batman fighting Superman is ridiculous. “Superman could just grab Batman and fly him up to outer space and kill him!” is probably the biggest and most common comment people make. My answer to the above statement is that Superman is a good guy and doesn’t kill unless he must, which is very, very rare. He’ll try and negotiate, and he’ll fight if he must. But he’s not going to just grab Batman by the leg and deprive him of oxygen. That’s not who Superman is. He’ll simply defend himself, and fight for the lives of others – including Batman in the end.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, directed by Zack Snyder and written by David S. Goyer, stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, Ray Fisher, Diane Lane and Jeremy Irons. It hits theaters March 25, 2016!
