While all of the previous trailers for director Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel have been stellar, they have all had a pretty similar vibe, focusing on the hero’s journey of Clark Kent/Superman. In this latest final trailer for the film, however, the theme centers almost entirely on his opponent General Zod and the overall villainous threat that Superman faces in the film. There is tons of new and exciting footage to behold, unlike anything we’ve seen in the previous trailers, so this one’s definitely worth a look… or two… or three… or, well, you get the idea. Synopsis:

A child sent to Earth from a dying planet is adopted by a couple in rural Kansas. Posing as a journalist, Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) uses his extraordinary powers to protect his new home from an insidious evil.

Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel – produced by Christopher Nolan and written by David S. Goyer – stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Julia Ormond, Michael Shannon and Russell Crowe. It hits theaters nationwide June 14, 2013!
