The first production video of 2012 for Peter Jackson’s two-film adaptation of The Hobbit is now online! This marks the 6th video blog overall from the production, and it is essentially a continuation of the last production video, showing us more of the incredible location shooting in New Zealand. We also get to see more of Andy Serkis (Gollum) in action as second unit director. Hit the jump to head back to Middle Earth!

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: There and Back Again, both directed by Peter Jackson, are set for theatrical release on December 14, 2012 and December 13, 2013, respectively.
