The time has come. You can forget that lame bootleg trailer with the horrible picture and sound that made its way online a few days ago, because the full theatrical trailer for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises has finally hit the web! This one showcases a bit more action than in the previous teaser released last July, and gives us plenty of Bane, Selina Kyle (Catwoman), and, of course, Batman to feast our eyes upon – making us all the more impatient to see the film next year. Without going into too much detail, let’s just say it has all you could want from a trailer for one of the most anticipated films of 2012, and you should just hit the jump to watch it immediately.

I have to say that, while this looks great, the rumblings on the web about Bane’s dialogue being difficult to understand in The Dark Knight Rises prologue (playing in front IMAX screenings of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) seem all the more substantiated with this trailer. He sounds cool, but I (like so many others) really feel like actor Tom Hardy needs to re-dub his dialogue for the character in post production.
Overall though, I am absolutely stoked for the film and cannot wait for it to hit theaters next July!
The Dark Knight Rises, directed by Christopher Nolan, stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Josh Pence and Tom Hardy. It hits theaters nationwide July 20, 2012.
