Now this is what I’m talking about! For those of you who were fans of the first Transformers movie from 2007, but were perhaps let down by the second, you might want to check out this teaser trailer for Transformers: Dark of the Moon, director Michael Bay’s third film in the franchise. Hit the jump to watch!

For me, this trailer is a great tease for what will hopefully redeem what went wrong with the last film. While I enjoyed Revenge of the Fallen more than most people, it did have its share of problems that resulted mostly from the writer’s strike that happened to hit right at the time when they had to come up with a finished script (read this interview for more details). So I really don’t blame Michael Bay for what happened, and I think he really did the best with what he had.

I am definitely looking forward to what Bay says will be a “dork-free Transformers” this time around (referring to comments he’s made in the past about getting rid of the “dorky comedy” for the third film), and I really hope that it’s a success because this teaser was killer!
