Yesterday, a test screening for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was held in Chicago, IL. So, of course, a few reviews have hit the web. Hit the jump to read a bit of what people are saying!
/Film reader Kyle:
“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I is a great continuation of the series, thematically and visually in line with films 5 and 6.”
MuggleNet reader Gaby:
“This film felt very perfect. I don’t remember feeling this satisfied with a Harry Potter movie since Chamber of Secrets.”
MuggleNet reader Kyle:
“First off, this is the most perfect Harry Potter film ever. The movie on a whole is amazing and dark. Everyone was on top of their game. Everything was perfect.”
If you read the reviews in full, while there are some minor negative criticisms to the film, the overall opinion seems to be very, very positive. Keep in mind that the film still has three months to go before it hits theaters, so things can change in the editing room and the special effects will be more completely rendered. But this is looking extremely good for a film that is not completely finished so I have high hopes for this!
