What?! Looks like Sly has changed his mind once again with Rambo 5, but this time it is not about what the plot will be, but whether or not we’ll even see John Rambo again. That’s right, Stallone says Rambo 5 will not be happening.

“I think Rambo’s pretty well done. I don’t think there’ll be any more. I’m about 99 per cent sure,” Stallone told Empire.

So what in the world will the 63 year-old actor do next then? He told the magazine that they are working on a sequel to The Expendables. It appears he feels that The Expendables will be a film that audiences connect to, therefore he won’t need to fall back on Rocky or Rambo to make something audiences want when he wants to make another film.

Personally, I don’t understand why he wouldn’t just do both. But on the other hand, I think that while I would love to see another Rambo, the story appeared to be over in the last film. He’s home. He’s done. Farewell, John Rambo. You fought well.
