Total Film has updated their website with a 10-page interview with Guillermo Del Toro, the director for the upcoming Hobbit films, tentatively set to be released in 2011 and 2012.

The article gives us all the latest details on what has been going on behind the scenes of The Hobbit films, such as scripting the film, working with producer Peter Jackson (director of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy), designing creatures (“Smaug” the dragon, wargs, spiders, etc.), the look and feel of the new films, etc.

It is a great read for anyone who loved the original Lord of the Rings trilogy and wants to know the latest about The Hobbit, and I’m sure both Del Toro and Jackson don’t have much time for interviews like this so you had better check this one out!
