Leonardo DiCaprio and his film company, Appian Way, has been developing a new “Twilight Zone” movie for the last year or so. Recently, they hired screen writer Rand Ravich (The Astronaut’s Wife) for the film. Currently, it appears Warner Brothers will distribute the movie based on the popular TV show of the same name.
The original TV show, created by Rod Serling, aired for five years from 1959-1964. It was later adapted into a movie by Steven Spielberg and John Landis in 1983, followed by a remake of the series in 1985 and then again in 2002. The new film has been said in the past to be “one continuing story line based on one or more episodes.” Which episodes will those be? Well it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see!
