Harry Knowles from Aint It Cool News wrote a short article telling us what his favorite summer movie experiene of all time was. It was Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Many people will think he is insane, while others will agree with him.

I realize that this isn’t really “news,” but aint it cool? I just think it is great that such a well know critic/movie fan has stood up for the most unjustly maligned film of all time. He’s always been quite the supporter of the film. I think most people can agree, however, that seeing a new Star Wars film for the first time in 16 years was an unforgettable experience, whether they liked the film or not.

I have tons of memorable summer movie experiences, but The Phantom Menace is my most favorite as well. Behind that would be the 1989 Tim Burton Batman film, then Independence Day, followed closely by The X-Files: Fight the Future.
