Michael Bay is great. I love his “take no crap from anyone” attitude.

In case you’re not aware, Michael Bay gets a lot of crap from whiny internet hate mongers. I may be on the net, but I am not one of those whiny people that hate his movies. I love Bay’s movies for the most part. They’re entertaining, have great characters and and have fun stories overall. He generally makes summer popcorn flicks. There is nothing wrong with that.

And let’s not forget that most of his movies make over $200 million domestically. Transformers made approximately $319 million in the U.S. and $708 million worldwide. Most people love his movies. But the haters on the internet have a loud voice.

There’s a quote from the L.A. Times from a Michael Bay interview where he addresses these whiny people:

I don’t take myself so seriously,” he said in his surprisingly hushed offices. “All these people think I do. Look, a lot of people think it’s fun to hate on Michael Bay. There’s a lot of poison on the Internet. People always try to knock someone who’s had a ton of success in movies. Whatever.
